Our story started back at the University of Nebraska in 2017 with just a simple game of dodgeball. Due to Matt's over-competitive nature, he threw a ball way too hard straight into my face and knocked me down. I was more upset I was out of the game more than anything. He was such a gentleman and helped me up and apologized. After this initial meeting, nothing ever happened between us.

Three years later in our final year of college, we found our way back to each other again through a dating app believe it or not, and we have been together ever since. After graduation, Matt got a great job in Iowa and I stayed in Lincoln. This only lasted about eight months before I made to move out to West Des Moines also.

Now here we are, eight years after meeting for the first time and ready to start our lives together.
